Complan Commandos are not eligible. The only thing they share with GI Joe are the molds.

Say what? How is Estrela's Comandos em Ação (Commandos in Action) line any different? Estrela did not start out using the G.I. Joe logo:
http://www.yojoe.com/action/int/2intcard/br-deaco.jpg Same deal with Action Force. The G.I. Joe logo was not used: http://www.yojoe.com/archive/actfig/...edshadow-c.jpg Complan Commandos are highly sought after by Joe collectors juat as other international lines are. And it's not true that they "only share the molds." Cross Country takes the name directly from the U.S. line. And the file cards directly lift from G.I. Joe as well, even moreso than other international toy lines do. It looks like Lady Jaye and Baroness's U.S. file cards were borrowed from directly. 4 file cards including Cross Country's are shown here. Like other blogs and YoJoe.com, the figures are referred to as international G.I. Joe figures directly by these collectors: Oreobuilder's Blog: Funskool Fridays! Action Commandos YoJoe says they were released by Funskool, a well-known Indian G.I. To I have to take JJ's side on this one. To quote from the yojoe.com page for Ann "Canary Ann was an exclusive figure that was released in India by the Funskool toy company. Canary Ann was a promotional Complan Commando figure produced for Complan Chocolate Health Drink."
That's the same as the Kellogs Lifeline to me. So if we're countng Funskool as G.I. Joe (which I assume) these should also be eligible. Certainly more than Transformers or MASK characters that have already ben allowed. |

In short, SINBAD qualifies, because Bullet Man did. I rest my case...oh, that was the wrong topic. |
