I like the other figures out there, but I agree that if it's not G.I. Joe, I'm not collecting it. At best I'll use the other figures out there for parts.
I still have a lot of old ARAH stuff to buy. Most of my old figures were worn out, since they were toys back then, not "collectibles". I've found a ton of great deals on ebay lately, so I'm happy to keep doing that. Plus, I do look forward to the next movie. Hasbro has a better chance of making money on the figures if they have a movie, so I'm not worried at all that they won't be making one. I personally think that the best figures and sculpts of the ME have come from the two movie lines, so I can't wait to see what comes next. |

Combo between finishing up my old ARAH wants, 3rd party, and selling off stuff which pretty much kicked off after the 2014 Eco Force club offering.. Nothing else has really been a "must have". Will be slimming the Joe collection down in a big way in the upcoming months.
I bought basically one of everything at retail in 2015 but only kept maybe half, and a few of the Club 2015 guys. 2016 was a bit of a dud all around so I only bought two Club figures. 2017 has totaled 3 now with the Ultimate Enemies and 1 Bat. |

I haven't been on the site much since it was revealed that you can't say anything bad about BF Studios on here, but I feel I have to chime in on this one. I'll be selling a lot of carded stuff (both ME and late ARAH), some of my vintage pieces (before the plastic starts completely disintegrating, and just trying to grow up. I love my Joes, and they've been a part of my life for since I was seven, but I'm finding less and less for me anywhere, including places like this.

I just started collecting modern Joes last year, so I'm kind of bummed out that it's all over now. I was looking forward to actually getting some new stuff each year, in addition to "catching up" on previous releases. But now i missed out on the whole era basically.
On the positive side, I still have a long way to go, until I have collected all the figures I want. And I plan on making some dioramas and displays as my collection grows, so I am in no way done with modern Joes. We can always hope that if/when Hasbro launches a new Joe line at some point, it'll be a 4" line. |

I'll be looking at the other 1:18 lines for parts to customize figures that may tie into ARAH, but not be full ARAH. I like making Dreadnoks for example. My other goal is to make an update to Grand Slam and other ME figures that used that mold.

First I plan to fill the holes in my collection. Almost there.
Then spend lots of money at Marauder Inc. Then I plan to finally get around to all those customs I have planned. I'll be glad not to have to spend thousands with the Club every year for exclusive figures |

There's a few more Sigma Six I'd like, but other than that, I'm done with Joes, until they release new kid-oriented toys and media and really push it--then I might be interested again. I'm just not into "adult Collectibles" anymore.
All these 3rd party properties (Marauders, Eagle force, etc) completely lack the "it" factor of GI Joe, from what I've seen. So that, plus their cost, plus being adult collectibles meant to be delicately posed and coddled on a shelf--I just have no interest.

I will still continue to look for vintage G.I Joe figures as well some modern figures I missed. I am also going to continue collecting Batman, Spider-Man, Star Wars, X-men, Star Trek, Aliens, AVP and The Termintator, I am also thinking about buying more Transformers at some point. maybe even some Gundam and Robotech figures.

Pick up a few ME figures I need, buy some more MTF figures and continue building my MP TF collection.
