Those are FLAK-VIPER's kill marks (on the 1992 figure), so they probably mixed up Firefly and Flak-Viper, but that means Firefly's logo is a winged Cobra...but he's not a pilot and fireflies are bugs.

That is disappointing because Flak Viper deserves more than that for a logo. Any character does.

When choosing a modern logo, you should take into account all the details, including color and background, as well as fonts. Thanks to quality work, you can get a good result and then feedback from customers. I found the aviation logo here and I liked that there are so many options for illustrations. I'm very glad I found them and don't waste any more time creating such vectors manually!

I'm guessing its like using blue screen or green screen depending on how you're shooting film, in this case what's best visually determined color

Hey all,
I've been searching for a while and i just cant find it : I thought the red cobra logo was for the lower ranks and the silver for the higher ranks. But Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, Baroness and the Twins all have a red logo. So, whats the reason behind a silver logo ? Are there any more colors ? When planning the relaunch of G.I. Joe, Larry Hama said that it was Archie Goodwin that suggested an adversary to G.I. Joe could be called COBRA. Everyone at the meeting agreed to the adoption of that name, and Ron Rudat created the famous logo for that new imaginary faction. Hasbro wanted there to be color differences on the action figures for purposes of distinction and collectability, so for example, when the 1983 Viper Pilot was released with the Cobra Viper Attack Glider using the appearance of the 1982-83 Cobra The Enemy (v.1) action figure, it was given a silver marking instead of the traditional red marking on the uniform shirt. Because that same silver marking had already been used for the 1982-83 Cobra Officer (v.1) action figure, it seemed very reasonable. That is what I understand now, as an adult, but back in 1982-83, the child version of me didn't know about any of that, and I just used my imagination to make up an explanation, which I still use to this day as my headcanon. The Cobra logo can also be thought of as so much more than just a faction logo. It is a symbol, an emblem, and to some even a sigil. To clarify these meanings, a Logo is a marking representing a word or speech. A symbol is a marking indicating an idea or relationship. An emblem is a marking representing a concept. A sigil would be a marking said to have mystical or magical meaning. Red Cobra Logo When first introduced to the public by Cobra Commander to represent his pyramid scheme operation, the color of the Cobra logo was red. That remains the purest, most genuine form of the Cobra logo, and is emblematic of fidelity and blood sacrifice to the dreams and ideals of Cobra. It is worn not only by the rank-and-file troops, but even by Cobra Commander, the Baroness, and other leaders. Silver Cobra Logo The Crimson Guard network is thought to have been formed by Cobra Commander for more than 10 years before he formed Cobra. If this is correct, then in secrecy the silver Cobra logo might even predate the red one. The final stage of Crimson Guard training is purported to involve an initiation ceremony, too hideous for description, which might possibly involve treating the Cobra logo as more of a sigil than an emblem. The various Cobra action figures that wear the silver Cobra emblem have not had rank, grade, position, or training levels in common. Examples are the Cobra Officer, Crimson Guard, Viper Pilot, H.I.S.S. Driver, Cobra Divers and Eels, Techno-Vipers, Copperhead, and the Crimson Guard Commanders (Tomax & Xamot). The silver Cobra emblem is an honor and privilege to be worn, awarded to those members in recognition of their Meritorious Service. Gold Cobra Logo Less common, but sometimes present is a gold Cobra emblem, worn by Crimson Guardsmen, Neo-Vipers, and several more figures during the 50th anniversary celebration of the line. The gold Cobra emblem is awarded to those that through exceptionally meritorious service have demonstrated Distinguished Service to the Cobra organization. An all black or subdued Cobra logo is no less honorable than the red Cobra emblem but has faint markings or is without color for tactical reasons. Cobra Commander can authorize exceptional colors for use with the Cobra logo to be worn by some for purposes of morale or unit distinction. For example, the Night-Vipers are allowed a yellow logo to match the colors of the skull, dagger, and lightning bolt on their black spade unit patch. Again, that is my own made-up interpretations of the possible meanings for these logo colors, and it works just fine for me.
