It's about the first original half of the old Marvel comic series.
I grew up back in the early mid 1980s and I dug out an old issue 54 and I swear there was another issue where Flint was being tortured more in that chair device thing. Anyone know if the Secret Missions was around at the time too or nor'll t? Last edited by urrutiap; 11-30-2016 at 10:13 PM.. |

Google and ye shall find.
Marvel Comics,G.I. JOE Comic Book Archive, To answer your question. To the best of my knowledge. Snake Eyes Clutch Rock N Roll and Kwinn all went through the BWS process. Flint was not actually Flint in issue 54 that was Snake Eyes in disguise. Snakes, has been through the BWS several times as have Clutch and Rock N Roll. Clutch and Rock N Roll were captured yet again and given a treatment when investigating Rancho Corba. On the Cobra side...well Cobra Commander was pretty paranoid in the later issues and if you were in Cobra you took a ride in the BWS. Billy, The Baroness, Zartan, Destro, Storm Shadow, all got the BWS treatment. More than once. Who knows how many civilians in Millville and Springfield took a seat.

Flint was only only in the brain wave scanner in issue 54 which as skinny already stated was actually snake eyes in disguise.

Back then I thought issue 54 was scary because a g.I. Joe was being beat up and tortured.
And I still think there was an extra scene that was around back then that included more. It's been a long time when I had issue 54 When I was a kid back then |

I'll bet you're thinking of #53, when Flint takes on a squad of Cobra Eels during the attack on the Pit! He shows up badly beaten afterward.

I know that Flint was tortured by the Baroness in the 1st Dreamwave "Transformers vs. G.I. JOE" series set in WWII. (I think he might have died, believe it or not...) Also, Flint and the Baroness were tortured together by a Yakuza interrogator in the Devil's Due Prod. "Declassified" series, but later escaped.
