Recently I have been posting some threads about how my son has been slowly getting into Joes. Well now it's full tilt boogie. Within the past 3 weeks, upon pouring over the pages of the GI Joe guide, he has meticulously picked these pieces.
To do this he has sold some of his old toys and traded others, but all in all he's probably only spent about $50. They are all complete, he wouldn't have it any other way , except for Flint, "because he is cool and drives the Armadillo." I'm sure he will find his accessories soon enough. And I am also sure more is to come, but for now I am amazed at his taste/selection. I have showed him other figs and vehicles. He has seen the modern stuff (which he does have some of) however he just loves the vintage stuff especially the '82s! It just warms the cockles of my heart. Also big thanks to the toy store down the street for supporting my son on his mission. Thanks for reading just had to share |

He picked some great pieces. Flint, Duke and Major Bludd are great.

Wow! This is pretty fascinating. The old vehicles still hold up after all this time. How old is your son by the way?
The VAMP is one of my all time favorites so it's cool to see that he picked that as one of his choices.

As of now he's got his eye on an '84 Sky Hawk and he wants to find an 82' Hawk hopefully with the MMS.
