This is actually a good question, and my answer in the "open or don't open" debate is a simple- YES. Allow me to explain.
Yes, when I purchase new figures I, almost w/out exception, open them all. There's just something about having new Joes to open, pose, and "play with". However, I am also known to purchase dup's on occasion of the lesser selling figures or figures who's card art I particularly enjoy (Gung Ho among them). So, the answer to your query is, yes I open them and yes I keep them carded. Speaking of; Wave 4 has been particularly fun to collect unopened . I've already purchased this Wave in the 5-pack version, so I have them all already, however, because Hasbro (in their infinite wisdom) saw fit to re-release these with their gorgeous packaing art, I'm more than willing to drop down my $5.99 (as I've only found Wave 4 at Target) and re-purchase this Wave. :-D |

The DTC HISS is a great vehicle in general, so I say open it. Besides, the packaging is designed so that you can still display it sans-figure--which you might want to do anyway as the Night Creeper sucks.
