Joe Colton started a petition with change.org to save Joe Con and the GI Joe line. With the number of Hisstank members, I'm sure we can surpass the 1,500 signature mark pretty easily. So come on guys, SIGN UP!

Are we sure that the end of Funpub's contract, if that is what is happening, is the end of the Joe Club/Con? I can appreciate the passion but is it misplaced without more information?

In my opinion, the end of JoeCon and GI Joe is based on rumors, fear, and fanboy speculations. But I do feel that this petition can and will be a cry and plea to Hasbro that no matter what the future holds and what plans Hasbro has to please continue with the Joe line and out of consideration for the collectors to keep JoeCon alive. It's also like a reminder to Hasbro saying that we are still here and we are pulling for the continuation of the Joe line.

I signed it earlier today after seeing it on Twitter.
If nothing else maybe it will capture Hasbro's attention but I agree with YT's comment. There may already be a plan in place that we just don't know about. If we do get their attention they will at the least see how passionate we are about it if they don't already know.

Is there anything stopping FunPub from holding their own YoCon (with fewer exclusives) or whatever they want next year?

If They out THE rights, They Would No Longer Be Holding THE Office Con And Wouldn't be Able To Offer licensed products. They could still run a con and could do exclusives much like coil con and a few others but would be considered 3rd party figures.that and money would be a factor. With out hasbro they might not have funds to pay for a con in the level of joecon.
