Would like to have gone White Clown, but went with Pale Peony to put her in striking distance. Add TrackViper, Secto Viper, Rock Viper

There's 2. The IDW version was the ops administrator of the Vegas installation that Flint's team was based out of. She was killed in a shootout with Tomax (Cobra Files).

I am assuming all the Firewall noms have been for LeChance(DDP) thus far. The IDW one played a large part in those storylines, but to me they are different.

On the contrary, I argue that there is only one. IDW and ddp are different continuities. In the IDW verse, Mike Costa took the more ludicrous characters and made them more believable. Following this pattern he used a fairly ridiculous ddp character (a teenage hacker recruited to an elites military force) and made her a viable counter intelligence agent. If we are to accept that she is two different characters, than we can reasonably conclude that reloaded Duke is a separate character, or Future Noir Sci fi , or spy troops Beach head, or the divergence between sunbow and Hama cobra commander.

I don't know. I see your point, but those comics were meant to be divergent from the original characters, and yet they maintained most of their core looks or persona. But you could consider those characters different if you wanted as well they don't supersede their better known selves. I don't remember Sci-Fi, but Duke is basically the same in Reloaded just working for Cobra. Spy Troops Beachhead is more different in some way?
Still its almost like Dial-Tone and Female Dial-Tone. I think she was meant as a replacement, but characteristically they are too different. One is Dial-Tone and one is female Dial-Tone. Renegades characters are pretty close to their originals. Dr. Mindbender might be the exception there. Besides Firewall in IDW, the Headman character seems totally different, he just happens to use a name Hasbro owns the rights to.

The old firewall could be seen as the natural progression of the ddp version.
