I'd still use the ATC, it might not be light or fast, but it's armoured to help survivability, it's armed with a 30mm cannon and 4 rockets for self-defence and it can carry a security team for the flag officers or staff support, as well as having excellent C3I capabilities with the comms gear.
For a quick getaway, I would prefer a VAMP Mk2 for it's security and speed if a UH60 Blackhawk or Tomahawk were not available. For casual transport, it's a mix of military transports, Blackhawks, or two-seat choppers. Riding around bases is done in old Jeeps or Mutts. I have a few PTE humvees that serve as transports in danger zones. Honestly, I don't have a special 'General's Car'. It depends on what's available or needed.

Now I think that the "definitive Command car" for General Flagg, General Colton (G.I.JOE) or General Abernathy (Hawk) is the 1990 Hammer, the biggest and with more fire power among the G.I.JOE's Jeeps in their motorpool. What You guys think about it?

I always thought he'd ride in the 1990 General or the 1987 Mobile Command Center.

I have never seen a General riding in a tactical vehicle. They use vans and internally armored SUVs. There is very little reason for a General to be present on the front. I actually laughed when I read Flagg's file card. If a General is in combat, he isn't doing his job.
But having said that, I would use a larger vehicle like the Combat Cruiser. A command vehicle would have to be a moving TOC. Only a larger vehicle would have space to carry the necessary radios, maps, and electronics. Putting him in the AWE Striker or Vamp would mean he would spend 100% of his time being the vehicle TC and 0% of the time being a General. |

What are "TOC" and "TC"?
Here is a comparison picture, the 1990 Hammer is way bigger of the Ninja Combat cruiser: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...010-v-m-p.html

If General Hawk or General Colton are going on a mission, that typically means all of the Joes are going on the mission. Generals typically command thousands of troops. In this case, I would have him in the ROCC (Rolling Operations Command Center). I actually converted the jet in mine to a UAV so either can survey the battlefield.

Normally the most senior occupant of the vehicle. The TC's job is to provide guidance and direction to the driver (who is normally more junior). While the vehicle is in operation, the TC will focus on navigating and operating the radios so that the driver can focus on the driving. |

I have thought about Hawks ride, not a car but his main kit for riding into battle in my mind would be the Sky HAVOC. Imagine a nice selection of Joe armor rolling out, HAVOCS or in coordination, group lead positions and in the center is Hawk rolling on an all chrome version. That's why I want a Sky HAVOC someday.

Not sure what you are going for here. I said, "a larger vehicle like the Combat Cruiser." There are many perfectly fine vehicles larger than the two-seat Vamp or the Striker. I never claimed the CC was the largest, nor that it was the only acceptable option.
Also, TC = Truck or Track Commander. Normally the most senior occupant of the vehicle. The TC's job is to provide guidance and direction to the driver (who is normally more junior). While the vehicle is in operation, the TC will focus on navigating and operating the radios so that the driver can focus on the driving. Hmmm rides shotgun, controls the radio, directs the driver.... sounds like a wife.
