Have an idea about a miniature wargame regarding Joe/Cobra. But no idea where to put it. Hehe. So far both my posts here in gen discussion have been moved. I just wanna do it right this time. I can't find a spot for it though.

Post it here.
I moved your "Figures Remake" post to the GI Joe toy forum because it was about the toy line. Don't be offended when a post gets moved, it's usually because the mods want your questions or topic to be discussed and moving it ensures that.

I once saw a guy who had done up a 40K Imperial Guard army with a G.I. Joe theme (both Joes and Cobra). "Commissar Destro" springs to mind.
I'd have no interest in a 40K style game, though. Don't have the patience or skill for building and painting. Heroclix-style? That I could get into. I thought the pack-in idea Hasbro introduced for a couple years with their Star Wars (particularly Clone Wars) figures was kinda neat, if simple: A card with some stats, some dice, a stand, and voila...you've got a little game you can play with your figures. |

I'd be all-in for a hero-clix style game for sure.

I wargame with Lego minifigs. That could always work with Joe/Cobra.
What scale were you aiming for? |

I've always wanted a G.I. Joe version of Risk or Axis and Allies...

I was thinking Warhammer 40K Scale. Be nice if Cobra could actually win some battles without it already being pre-determined. And the Star Wars version would be nice to. Pre-painted figures is always a plus.
Side-note..Call of Duty version of Joes vs Cobra would be fun to. With some nifty customization options. What's Heroclix? Last edited by ViperStark; 08-22-2015 at 12:43 AM.. |

How are you planning to build the miniatures? I do like the idea of a game in this scale, where you can send in dozens of vehicles against one another.
