This is recruitment for developing a GI Joe-inspired video game.
Screenshots and renders found here. Contact Me with "GI Joe inspired game" in subject line. This will be a process, and in this early stage here's what I'm looking for: - ARMA3 experienced scripters - have the ability, desire, and know-how to implement new vehicles and environment assets with unique features into the ArmA3 game engine. - Environment modelers - Use Blender or 3DSMax, possibly Maya (if supported by ArmA3) to create life-like/realistic assets such as buildings, vegetation, roads and signs, rocks and other terrain objects, and maybe animals. Should be able to UV wrap and texture your own models. - Character modelers/artists - must be able to create characters that fit into a given setting/timeline, while also blending with the ArmA3 style (life-like). Will be responsible for translating a toy's vision into realistic proportion and a reasonable functionality, especially in regards to the characters' gear, without deviating from the intended style. Those seriously interested in character modeling should talk to me for more clarity on the matter. Should be able to UV wrap and texture your own models. - Weapons modelers - personal weapons and weapon stations. Should be able to UV wrap and texture your own models. - ArmA3 technical animators/rigging - Fine tune and tweak models in the Object Builder (Arma3 model editor). This is a technical job that requires some "artistic" skills. You may need to model simple 3D geometry or design HUD elements, but you will not have to create elaborate 3D models or high-detailed textures. Experience is preferred, BUT if you are a modeler with no experience in game development then don't let that stop you getting involved in this project. Likewise, if you have scripting experience but have never scripted for ArmA3, then please consider diving in. The binding element is being a GI Joe fan, and wanting to be part of developing a great game inspired by that environment.
