Hey guys, I'm new here so I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place. Anyway, I setup dioramas for photos and I'm wanting to invest in a few Acid Rain or MTF figures. I love the detail/articulation of the Acid Rain line, but the customization options of MTF are notteworthy. Which brings me to my main question.
How well can MTF figures aim? As in tactically aim down the barrel of their guns? Ideally, wearing the colonial marine-esqu armor and shoulder pads. I've yet to see a photograph of any MTF figures not aiming/firing from the hip. Acid Rain on the other hand, I've seen plenty of great examples. Thanks for your help guys! PS. If you have both, which do you prefer and why? |

Well, I just got my MTF figures. The customization is of course, the selling point. I didn't get the armor, and I mostly got them to integrate with ME gi joes. The MTF are pretty flexible, and with a little bit of sanding/cutting etc I could see improving range of motion in the elbow joints and maybe shoulders.

Thanks for the reply, hardcorps. I do realize its a very niche question. As they are out of the box, can the MTF figures realistically aim down the barrel or is sanding/cutt required to make that happen?

MTF. They have adjustable wrists. I'll post a pic later. I didn't get the "armor" but I did get the molle chest rigs for the figs and am thoroughly impressed. But if you add the pouches(very easy by the way) they add some bumps to the rig. Still, the articulation is top notch. Definitely buy a couple. You'll be happy I'm sure. Now you just have to choose a color pattern. I'd go with black setup and grey. I forgot the color designations. Anyway, MTF is a great homage to the ARAH figures and still looking extraordinary.
