Of the guys on this List, Hector falls 3rd behind Wade and General Rey for me, so I may add my vote to his soon-ish.
I'm surprised that Super Trooper is this popular. |

Shame Super Trooper didn't make it. He's not really that popular. He's almost the last of the named figures that are left through 1988 besides 4 vehicle drivers and 3 BF2000. For all the advertising he got, including being the first character who originated as a Joe to be filmed in live-action, it's kind of stunning he flopped as a character. I'm not sure why Starduster rates so much higher, since both were similarly left out of the cartoons and comics. I would've been much more interested in seeing Super Trooper's adventures than Starduster's.
BTW, there's no "e" in Colonel Sharp. Colonel Sharp - G.I. Joe Wiki - Joepedia - GI Joe, Cobra, toys Remaining 1987-1988 named figures not to win: 1987 Rumbler Avalanche (Battleforce 2000) Blocker (Battleforce 2000) Knockdown (Battleforce 2000) 1988 Super Trooper Windmill Armadillo Skystriker (Tiger Force) |

Super Trooper appears in Action Force (reprinted as GI JOE: European Missions).

Then I hope we keep Cool Breeze out on that basis too. At least Super Trooper doesn't sound like a feminine hygiene product. Maybe a male erectile dysfunction product.
Is Starduster a better name? Sounds like a My Little Pony. Homaging the sugar sprinkled onto little cereal stars is a weird thing for a Joe code name to do. I think I would've preferred Colonel Crunch. Last edited by JediJones; 06-22-2015 at 03:19 PM.. |

BTW, there's no "e" in Colonel Sharp. Colonel Sharp - G.I. Joe Wiki - Joepedia - GI Joe, Cobra, toys Its up for debate really. To quote from that page: Sharp has been given two different names in non-cartoon sources. G.I. Joe vs. Cobra: The Essential Guide named him Dexter Sharpe, while the G.I. Joe Field Manual names him Warwick J. Sharp The Dexter Sharpe name was also used on the WWIII G.I. Joe team composite by DDP. Reference to the WWIII cover: JMM's G.I. Joe Comics Home Page - Sharpe, Colonel Dexter This does leave an interesting point, since the Essential Guide and WWIII composite came first. But the Field Manual was based on the TV show designs. Anyone have the DVD's and feel like checking the spelling there? I'm going to stick with the Essential Guide/WWIII spelling for now as its 2 sources to 1. If someone can check the credits, I'll go with whatever spelling was used in the TV show itself after that. |

I don't know if the show ever listed his name in print. If it did, it would've had to have been on a screen or an insignia somewhere within the footage of the show.
There's also a Transformers movie homage to him: Colonel Sharp - Teletraan I: the Transformers Wiki - Age of Extinction, Transformers: Prime, Fall of Cybertron, Toys, Kre-O, Transformers 4

Isn't there credits with the voice actors for each role at the end?
