So I am being extremely meticulous about documenting my Joes as I go through my tubs and boxes. I have a google doc spreadsheet and trying to document every little bit about them. Even considering taking a picture of them bagged and setup. After putting them into the spreadsheet, they get bagged with a printed slip with some info (year, name, version, complete? missing, broken parts). This is easy for figures, but I cannot think of a good way to do this for vehicles. I was thinking if there was a way to attach something small to the underside of the vehicle to id it in the spreadsheet that would work pretty good. Wondering what kind of tape (or sticker) that I could use the wouldn't damage the plastic. Or maybe there is some other way to go about doing this. Suggestions?

Maybe a label maker label next to the Hasbro copyright stamp? Or you could get large acid free bags and bag each vehicle with the piece of paper inside.
The latter would be good if you are worried at all about label residue in the future.

print (or write) on a note-card, then use a single hole punch to punch a hole in the corner, then use a small piece of thread to tie it onto part of the vehicle. Eaasy to remove when time to display, leaves no marks.

I like the note-card with string idea. Plan on eventually displaying them and I guess I could leave the note-card underneath when I am displaying them. I would do the bags, but wow they start to get pretty salty. Hope to get shelves up quick to display my vehicles, but I would like to keep them documented on the shelf too.
