Marissa Fairborne may well have an implied relationship to two major Joes (we'll ignore that chronologically in the universes presented she can't be their daughter unless they had a daughter before they appeared in G.I. Joe cartoons), but including a character who never once even appeared in a G.I. Joe medium of any form whatsoever?
That's like nominating Luke Skywalker because in one of the DDP Joe Comics they show one of the Joes buying an action figure of him for their kids (actual example). Marissa was possibly in her late teens to early twenties in 2006 when her TF appearances took place. Most definitely possible with the last sunbow GIJOE episodes taking place in 1986. I would also say that Checkpoint from C.O.P.S. is a GIJOE related character. Trakker from MASK as much as I don't like the idea, is now tied to the GIJOE universe. Is he a Joe? hard to say, but he is definitely a character. Now if you tried to tie in Princess Illiya, then you may be pushing things a bit.

Why Checkpoint? There is a separate Joe named Check-Point. One of the Steel Brigade / Plague TRU packs characters. COPS characters share a lot with the JOES. I think there are 5 or 6 COPS characters with the same names. Check-Point, Mace, Bullet-Proof, Mainframe, Barricade, Long-Arm.

Checkpoint is Beach Heads son. His name is Wayne Sneedon III Larry Hama also wrote the filecards for C.O.P.S. I wonder if Barricade LongArm and Mace...especially Barricade could be ex joes? http://www.hisstank.com/forum/832221-post7201.html Funny I thought for sure the question you had would be about the Princess.

Neat. Never seen anything about COPS before. Nice tribute to Beachhead. Definitely G.I. Joe related (others from that line may be as well if Hama wrote the cards, will have to look those up).
