A couple years ago we seen some great concepts from some of the original gijoe design team (Ron Rudat) and several others as they unleashed art and teased us with a cartoon short for their pet project S.K.OMEGA My question is WHY on earth have they not put this up as a kickstarter? Give us fans the HIVE, the awesome transport helicopter and all the amazing figures that were teased......WHOMEVER is in charge MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!

They were going to be O-ring which may have been half the problem. I think this is dead now.

I keep hearing that they still have interest, but "life got in the way", or something to that effect.
However, here's what we can observe: they haven't made so much effort as to update their FB page in the last few years. No hiatus announcement, no updates. What does that tell you?

This In addition we have yet to see prototypes. Ron Rudat left the project before updates came to a halt. There was a lot of ambition going into this line and much potential. However with how things cost these days, I wonder how much vehicles like the Owl and playsets like the Hive would cost. O-ring fans are the target demographic but if all they managed to see was control art and digital concept art at Deviantart, that's not much to go by. It would be awesome to see this come to life and being that Kickstarter has become more popular, maybe there's a chance for it. However it would be nice to at least see a prototype or 2. |

I'd be all over the Hive playset more than anything... speaking of playsets, I'm very tired of Hasbro's anti-playset stance. GI JOE and Star Wars have suffered immensely due to their approach on the matter.

Hasbro needs to release a Death Star or Terror Drome or Joe H a playsets similar to the Eversparkle sets. Those were affordable and I have five sets and can pretty much build a small city block out of them or a giant bombed out mansion / complex.
