Amazingly, Drop Zone got 0 votes this time, and therefore gets dropped from the poll because he missed his quota by 1 vote.
Sadly, Hector is also getting dropped despite debuting in the poll with 5 votes. So we get 3 adds in the next one. Quote:
Also, in any close race within 1 or 2 votes, leaving the poll open for 3 or 4 days also could've switched the results. But moving someone's position up 1 or 2 slots in the poll where it would otherwise be isn't necessarily worth spending the extra time. Last edited by JediJones; 03-07-2015 at 08:38 AM.. |

Apparently Hector is the cartoon version of sparks. Frequent supporting cast who was pretty cool but didn't make gigantic contributions, but just can't get traction in the poll.

I think Hector at least did better in his debut poll than Sparks ever did. For sheer lines of dialogue as well as importance to the episode plots where he appeared, Hector definitely has Sparks beat. But Sparks has him beat on being an official action figure at least once.
Clearly the cartoon canon outside of the 1987 movie doesn't seem to be as important to voters as even the post-87 comic book canon. It seems like a lot of people have seen the movie but haven't watched most of the regular cartoon episodes. Drop Zone fell 1 vote short and Hector fell 2 votes short of the threshold to stay in. Next poll, Austin is the only one at risk and will need 2 votes to stay in. In the one after that, Candy will be at similar risk, and in the one after that Altitude looks like a sure drop-out. This should be the next poll: Wild Card Hardball Big Bear Chameleon Candy Appel General "Iron Butt" Austin Altitude Munitia Backblast Stretcher Last edited by JediJones; 03-07-2015 at 09:58 AM.. |
