Wild Card till the win!!! a character who ACTUALLY HAD a distinguishable trait.
Add Backblast and Crosshairs. Side-note, rereading Marvel again, didn't realize: -how little Candy really did. I always thought she did more, but really she was just a pawn in a Ripcord story that had impact but ran much shorter than I remembered. -Austin came back after the first couple of issues where he was a sort of checks system for Flagg and played the same role for Hawk during the Ripcord on Cobra Island story, until his heart attack. -Though not an A-lister, Chameleon's role as a low B, high C character in IDW might make her the most accomplished character here, at least as far as comics are concerned. Throw in the minimal toy and cartoon presence that the remaining characters have, and maybe she should have gotten my vote. -But, Wild Card actually had character: he broke EVERYTHING he touched, and not just in one comic appearance. He was there when Rock n Roll and Chuckles got captured in Broca Beach by Road Pig (after his first appearance), and he's been there in Hama's IDW run, For me those early comics left such an impression on me. But when you go back those iconic characters were short-lived or not much more exposure than characters from later year. Not everyone has read DDP comics and I wonder if readership is up or down with IDW.

I was ready to vote Charboil, but it looks like Big Bear has jumped out to an earlier lead. If I vote him, it puts him within one vote of the leader.
Add Munitia and Sgt. Major Duncan. I'll hold my vote to see which of my three favorites stands the best chance of winning. |

1. Ripcord & Blowtorch confiscate her vehicle & she helps them out! 2. She's in disguise as Bongo the Bear & helps infiltrate a Cobra Circus 3. It turns out her Father was a Head Crimson Guardsman 4. Buzzer kidnaps her (But she outsmarts him & escapes) 5. She's murdered with Cobra Commander's Son Billy and the Soft Master - 2 More of the MOST Requested figures EVER! Both of whom were LONG voted in! 6. She's the ENTIRE reason for the Battle for Cobra Island! (Ok, maybe a little hyperbole here) Ripcord goes to CI to find her and that gives the Joes the reason to invade! VOTE CANDY/ BONGO THE BEAR!!! Quote:

Next time the push can go to whichever of those two comes in 2nd. If we could do a BB/Charbroil alliance, with the votes on Charbroil this time, and BB next time, it would be best. Charbroil had more votes last time so I would pick him to win first. We could've blown this poll away if we had done that this time. |
