I keep voting Female Dialtone, I think she's deserving at this point. I know many people focus on when a certain character popped up on the scene but this Dialtone has had more appearances than tons of the characters that appeared decades before her. I'm not even quite sure where she originated...She had an action figure come out, IDW comics and the animated resolute all around the same time. I've heard people say they found her in the background of the first GIJoe movie and she's appeared in the game for that movie. I can't speak for either of those as I never spotted her in the movie and never played the game. But I love her figure and she played a pretty decent part in the resolute animated series/movie...and that is my favorite of all the 900 animated GIJoe series. Also of note, she was a huge part of the GIJoe Battleground game (which I loved). She led the GIJoe team in to and out of every mission and was probably the only character you couldn't help but have on your team. I know many people never played that and it doesn't mean much but I thought the game was awesome and helped DT's recognition. Where she really shines though is the IDW comics. My favorite Joe Comics series (and I've read THEM ALL) and she's all over them. One of the most active female members for that particular series, DT was literally everywhere. Scarlett might be the only female that popped up more. Cover Girl, Helix, Lady Jaye, etc. all had large parts in some stories but DT was a constant on the team and just around more. I'm not huge on campaigning and I know its almost useless since some people will only vote for whoever is the earliest release vintage ARAH figure on the list but figured I would just show my support for a character that I feels really deserves a spot more than some random figure that was the least popular back in 1988. I'll try to add pics but I don't know if I'm doing it right or if I'm even allowed... |

She's always going to suffer backlash for replacing a previous code-named character.
Beef made it clear many times that the rules are that no animals are allowed in the poll. They would've won long ago if they were.
