I remember getting up every Saturday morning watching my favorite cartoons with a nice bowl of cereal in front of the T.V watching cartoons after cartoons. Cartoons like Transformers, GI.Joe, He-Man, Thundercats just to name a few. Transformers like any other cartoons stopped airing or cancelled. Transformers only had Beast Wars in the mid 90's nothing before, then we got the Unicron continuity, TF Animated and Prime as well as 4 movies with a 5th one on the works and a new cartoon coming out soon. What happened to GI.Joe? it was popular then boom the went down hard and I mean very hard, no new movie on the works (apparently getting cancelled), no new cartoons. To be honest I didn't like the last two Joe live action movies. Hasbro owns Transformers and GI.Joe, I mean has Hasbro thrown the towel on GI.Joe? Have they lost faith in the brand? All they had to do but failed, was REBOOT the brand and start fresh. When I was a kid, I preferred GI.Joe over Transformers (personal preference).
So what do you people think? |

i think it would be great. you could get the remaining voice actors and go all 80's with it. maybe do all the joe/tf comics as mini series

The world changed.
Kids will always prefer giant f***ing robots over soldiers. And that's if they're not on their I Pads or gaming console.

Welcome to the digital age.... where kids are now born with an apple product in their hand.
If there was a good first person shooter that had the G.I.Joe brand attached to it, plus a good reboot movie and possibly a well written cartoon that deals with issues of the day.. such as cyber terrorist, corrupt politicians (helping Cobra)..etc..etc. then there would be a bigger following.. make it grittier, darker.. kids are less sensitive these days.. Resolute is what they need...
