Basically there wasn't any way I was going to sell my Defiant for 100 after going to the hassle of moving it there. I spend like 20 bucks in tolls and gas just to get it there....

Man, I'm glad you did not sell it. If I lived near you I'd have given you 400 easy. I know what it's like being low-balled, Sara from BBTS once did it to me when I tried selling some SDCC stuff for store credit to them. She offered me less than what I actually paid for the items. It's reasons like that I was forced back on to ebay, because these on-line retailers try to low ball you drastically!
On pawn stars a man tried to sell his entire Gen 1 transformers loose collection to them, including a few doubles, and he wanted 15,000, the lead guy from Pawn Stars countered with 1500?!!!! I was furious for him. 15,000 for loose, imho probably not. However, 1500??? never, nope, kiss my ass, by felecia!! get out of mah house! I'd go like 8000, if I had the money.

I remember that episode of pawn stars. He had all the bots on the floor and it looked like they were moving.
Honestly the only way I was going to sell my Defiant was if they gave me enough money to purchase another one. When you factor in the delivery cost of getting a Defiant to you they get expensive quick. Although some extra cash would have been nice, I didn't really need the money. I just wanted to show it off. It showed off very nicely I have yet to see one in person, but it still amazes me that they made something that epically large!
I watched that clip and when they offered 100 bucks, I was waiting for you to go all... But I understand why you didn't.

ha I didn't want to actually sell it so I was glad it was an offer that was very easy to refuse. If they would have offered me like 500 I would have been tempted to see if I could find one in comparable shape or more complete for that price.
