I thought Ming and Bryan were very friendly and cool dudes. I have nothing but the best to say about the two of them.

We had a bit of a problem with putting the defiant on my rubermaid stand though. The production staff wanted to put the defiant flat on the ground and I had to really press the issue of how that wasn't going to happen. |

I had several pre-interviews, including one with Bruce. They seemed very concerned about people being shy or not having anything to talk about. The guy that was filming after me seemed like a real jerk. I pretty much just went with the flow. I don't really have any issues talking on camera and I think I'm pretty good at talking about gijoes. It was a really cool experience and the production staff was great.

Sure, no problem. If you are local to NJ you should deff audition. I think they are always looking for new people.

I am actually in Ohio but I have a few friends who live in Jersey. Plus, I have been on TV and movie sets enough. I prefer my simple life now. I am glad that, while you didn't sell your item, you had a good experience. Not all who do TV shows are treated well.

The defiant's wheels are extremely fragile. They are reused wheels from the persuader and they are very easy to break. The 4 wheel houses don't actually support the weight of the defiant, so either you see them with borken off wheels or they are propped up on something. I wasn't about to break my defiant just to get on TV>

I've watched parts of two shows on Netflix and have to say:
I don't know all that much about comics, nor do I classify myself as an expert on toys being just a recent modern joe collector. As an authority in not knowing much about this I'll say that these guys dont seem to know much of anything either. If they do, they don't show it. Everything they say sounds like it was specifically prepared for them to speak it.... And Kevin Smith bores me. Videos from Retroblasting.com are much better scripted, are far more informative, and the presenters posess a more credible presence and a better 'geek' energy about them. The cast of Comic Book men have the collective personality of chipped lead paint.

Ive seen only a couple of episodes. But im surprised to hear they offered only $100 in that condition. Makes themselves look either embarrassingly clueless, or blatantly trying to ripoff people.
