I wasn't sure where to put this thread, but I need some other Joe fans opinion on something. I'm working on a costume for a friend of mine and it's still missing a few elements, but it's about 80% complete. We wanted to give the character a little more modern and functional look. I wanted the characters to look more like Operators and less like Superheroes.
Things I still need to add: -Upper arm (L) tactical pouch -Upper leg (L) bolt quiver -Over barrel crossbow attachment -Radio earpiece -Butt pack 3 Changes I have considered: -Removing the crossdraw holster with a leg holster. -Adding a pauldron on the left shoulder with a star on the shoulder (e.g., some comic versions) -Adding a larger right shoulder butt stock pad that is more pronounced red than what's on the vest. Give me some feedback. Let me know what you think. Thanks, guys!

Thanks. My biggest thing is to make the character recognizable, but maintain a realistic "feel" for their load-out. I'll be posting Snake-eyes in a few days (hopefully). Working on that one, too.

I would add a lip mike and radio, M4 mag pouches for her thighs (can never have too much ammo), a tomahawk, a nice pair of Oakleys or Wiley X shades.

I wish my friend's hair was longer to do the ponytail. As it is, I don't want to ask her to take out the 15 earrings she has for the project, so I'm going with the hair down. That's pretty cool. One of your customs?

Some soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan carried tomahawks.
