I'm a relativily new GI Joe Club member- having rejoined in 2009. I think I had some GI Joe club membership when I was a kid but I really don't remember...I may have just had a subscribtion to the GI joe magazine...
Either way- this has been my MO for when I get the magazine...tear it open, flip through it, toss it in the garbage... It's hard when most everything in the magazine has already been on the web, or reviews on here or other venues...and the club magazine hasnt ever show me something that I was interested in... I am happy to see previews of the new club figures- very glad I signed up this time but that's been about it... Wish they would do a collectors spot light each month- even a monthy vintage Blue Print on a page would be cool. Of a montly figure review covering any figure from the early days... Until this month's issue. Even my wife looked at me and said- you're reading this one? It was great reading the back story to the GI Jeff show that was on Community Last Spring- a very interesting read. Let's see what happens in the future...but for this month I was satisfied for the first time in 5 years and I thank them. So again, Thank you Brian and the rest of the command staff

Yea, this is the first issue that made me want to hang on to it. There's just nothing that makes me want to keep them around. Having a classic figure review or vintage blueprints each month would make me want to hang onto them for reference purposes...just not sure why they havent thought of that...
And showcasing collecetions of those who are club members...would be a win win...we all have seen the new products already and I never look twice at them when they take up a page or more each issue...

The club is constantly asking for suggestions on what you want to see in the newsletter.
The Community article was a type of article long overdue. There have been interviews with Hasbro personnel in the past, but in this article we got to see things that had not been published before like vehicles not used in the episode. It was fresh and new. If you have ideas contact the club either via email or via the club forums and let them know.

It'd be nice to see a "finds" section too where they publish pics of members flea market and yardsale finds.
