Hi all,
I'm trying to get some additional information on the GI Joe Reservist which was a mail away offer from the GI Joe Club. I understand that it came as part of a GI Joe vs Cobra set. I understand that each file card had custom multiple choice information like the Steel Brigade figures. Does anyone have any information or pictures of the mail in form ? what were the multiple choice options? Were the codenames and ranks custom or randomly generated? Any help would be great! Thanks in advance |

Tyroc, not sure if this would help and you probably already have done this, but there is at least a picture of this GI Joe on YO JOE.COM's 3/4" toy archive. They also usually include the file card, but I'm not sure if it lists the answers to the questions you are seeking.

Tyroc, sorry to send you this on the wrong thread, but wanted to make sure you saw it. I believe I found GI Joe "Skip" through the File Cards. Check out Bombardier's File Card on YO Joe.com
Actually, he is the Action Force "Z" Force Commander according to Bryanm5150 |

iirc the names were randomly assigned, maybe everything else, too, except file name and birthplace. Suprisingly not much info out there, huh?

Yeah it's weird. So much information on the Similar Steel Brigade personalized figure / filecard. Guess it comes down to how much more bigger Joe was in the 80's

Digging up an old thread here. I went back and found the order form for this. You could order via mail, telephone, or online. By check it only asked for name, address, and a $14.99 check. Somewhere age had to be an option because the membership card had your age on it.
That being said, the order form for this was nothing like Steel Brigade. |
