ok so im in the military, cant tell you where i am and what im doing right now, but i came across some info i thought was interesting so did a quick google search and found this
Lockheed D-21 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia it seems we all thought the raven was a sr-71, well it is but it isnt. it has the body of the sr-71 but was modified like the a-12 for the d-21 so cobra made a hybrid. they were ahead of their times those cobra's lol so as im reading this article i found this: "The fate of the D-21 that had disappeared on the first operational flight was finally revealed in February 1986 when an official from the CIA returned a panel to Ben Rich that he had been given by a Soviet KGB agent. The drone had self-destructed over Siberia and the Soviets had recovered the wreckage. The Tupolev design bureau reverse-engineered the wreck and came up with plans for a Soviet copy, named the Voron (Raven), but it was never built." could this be where hasbro got the name the night raven? i also found it interesting the the plane is a super dark blue, not black. i have been around all our stealth craft and they look black to me. any sr-71 ive seen has been also but they were static displays and probly just painted black for looks since its the "blackbird". just some fyi i thought i would pass along. |

so the drome jet was the m-21, the drone was the d-21. the raven is the s3p so should the raven be the m-21/d-21 s3p? lol |

ok guys i had time today to go to the museum and actually see the drone. i was surprised how small and simple it was. im 6'6" and if they had just layed this thing on the ground the top of the tail would be even with me. it was about the size od a ski boat maybe. i also got to see, and touch....shhh dont tell, the worlds fastest sr-71.
oh and that robot that came with renegades tunnel rat, i got some pics of the real one if anyone wants them to ref for a custom pac rat https://imageshack.com/i/pcHSjO2Pj https://imageshack.com/i/idy1PJsGj https://imageshack.com/i/p9kA9Ekxj https://imageshack.com/i/iqlEdva4j https://imageshack.com/i/ip85zoPwj https://imageshack.com/i/ip1xg82gj https://imageshack.com/i/exUtqDh5j https://imageshack.com/i/p8bcMZaMj https://imageshack.com/i/f0U1OqInj |
