Hey everyone, it's been sad going to the stores seeing no joes. To encourage hasbro and show that we need Joes I have written there corporate and customer service asking to give us more Joes- figures and hey a new TV series too. Tell me what you think and hey if you have time send hasbro a suggestion telling them how much we want our joes!
After the big retailers dropped the brand, hasbro skipped joecon, and no real sdcc exclusive...we would be lucky to see any more joes. Lets hope the 50th line does well. Last edited by stillagijoefan; 07-07-2014 at 03:27 PM.. |

I think the cartoons brought those lines down financially even more than before the cartoons came out

Make sure the heading in the e-mail reads... Looking to purchase "millions" in 4in joe line. Otherwise I don't think they'll care.

They'll just refer you to the 50th line.

Even though POC's waves were all over the place, it was nice to actually be able to find Joes at not just TRU, but Target, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. But at least the 50th line will get some store release at TRU. It's not quite like the direct to consumer days, but most of us do our shopping online anyway, it seems. I'd still like to see 2015 bring some figures back to stores, but it may have to wait until 2016 for the next film.

I encourage anyone to write Hasbro, you never know what could happen if enough folks rang their bell.

MOD EDIT - Can you be any more condescending? Maybe there's a better way to advise someone that you disagree with the action they're trying to take.
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...s-read-me.html 1. No trolling, or flaming. Any form of personal insult is a no-no. As a basic rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it. No posting with the intent of starting "Drama". If you feel the need to start trouble, go elsewhere. 3. No harassing board members. This goes for either in posts on the boards (see rule #1) or in private messages. |

I'd like to write Hasbro and let them know that the movies are cool and everything but, IMO they should approach it from a different angle. I have to admit (as embarrassing as it is) that I'm not very familiar with SE's "unclassified" storyline but, maybe they could work that into a movie since he's such a popular character with many Joe fans. Maybe throw Chuckles into the movie since he became such a tough guy in the stories. I don't know, just throwing some ideas out there. A movie that is borderline groundbreaking that isn't just a carbon copy of every other action movie ever made. Something that will get the kids excited about the G.I. Joe line again, like in the early 1980's.
