If you look at everyone's favorites, you can see a pattern (that's obviously not 100% correct - right Grendlking?!? lol) But, us older guys (I turned the big 4-0 this year) typically liked the 82-85 guys and early Marvel & Sunbow characters. The next group typically liked the 85-88 guys & Season 2 Sunbow Joes - and the guys I put in the 'youngsters' category came to the party late or liked the newer guys!

except i'm 36 and my likes are largely based around the fact i'm from the UK and we got everything later.
so, I was mainly exposed to the 1985-1989 stuff in terms of the toys, but the Marvel UK comics were running stories largely from 1983-1987 all mixed up along side the UK original stuff |

There is only one for me; Bullhorn, no idea why I have such attachments to him. And I started collecting in 86 too so I really can't express my love for the dude.

YES the poll is wrong. It is a poll of peoples favorite toys. The proof of this is that an actual character like Kwinn came in after non-characters like the Cobra Trooper, CG and BATS.
Joe 1. Snake-eyes 2. Stormshadow 3. Flint 4. Scarlett 5. Hawk Cobra 1. Destro 2. Zartan 3. Baroness 4. Scarface 5. Maj. Bludd Other 1. Kwinn 2. Billy 3. Col Brekhov 4. Horror Show 5. Diana To bad we never really got to know the Oktober Guard that well Sharage and Stormavik weren't developed at all and they were around since issue 7. |
