I think that's very true. On the other hand if you did make a favorite figure poll you would probably also see a lot of characters being on the list more than once since some characters have more than one popular figure released.

Oh, and why is Interrogator on this poll. Seems like that spot should be for someone else...he only gets like one vote each time.

I think once Scrap Iron and Torch get in (both top 50 IMO) it will become a bit more open book on the cobra side. In addition to those you mentioned I could also see more Dreadnocks being next in line. But honestly if I was to pick any Cobra after Scrap Iron and Torch I'd probably have to go with BLACK OUT. Even though he was New Sculpt era and thus missed out on lot of the key media GI Joe received in the '80s he's still a pretty cool character with lots of story and drama surrounding him.

I'd say adopt a new rule, anyone who gets 0 votes is dropped from the poll and moved to the bottom of the request list for being added. Interrogator's simply wasted space and turning this into a de facto 9-figure poll for a long, long time to come.
Interrogator was added in poll 27 with 20 votes. I think it might have been one person voting for him 20 times in the previous 20 polls. I think each character request should only be counted once per person. So once you request a character in one poll, you would have to request someone different in the next poll because your choice wouldn't be counted twice. That way if we're adding a character with 20 votes, we know 20 different people mentioned him, and he has a real shot at love. Last edited by JediJones; 05-09-2014 at 06:11 PM.. |

I tried to prevent that. That's why on the poll where he won the add-in spot, I kept publishing the totals and pushing for write ins. That said, I'm kinda stuck in my ways, and don't like the slippery slope of removing characters. Which leads me to the current add -in standings. There's another near the top that will hardly get votes, but if people don't suggest their add-ins, then they'll get added too (deliberate use of a plural noun showing a representation of multiple beings).
That's that guy's reward for consistency and persistence. He gets to vote for his favorite character every round, until 40 rounds from now, he eventually wins. Honestly, I'm probably responsible for 50% of Torch's votes, and clutch before him... Quote:
