I actually was thinking about the pieces and how they move. That's why I had se and as as queens. Definately most dangerous.
Hawk and cc, don't mix it up as much, but vital to their teams-kings Bishops are the strategy pieces - destro Serpentor duke and flint Knights are always catching you off guard (like women tend to do) - Scarlett, LJ, Baroness, and Mindbender (not a lady, but pretty feminine) And Rooms are fun to use, dangerous, and pretty straight forward - RB, slaughter, ff and Zartan. But it's your chess game and you gotta do what you'll be most happy with. |

I'm actually pretty flattered that you guys are toying with the idea as an intellectual exercise

I put all your early "junkyard votes" with Mutt. I guess I considered them one and the same. I was going to put them in as Mutt & Junkyard.

Some Great Over-Night analysis going on there Fred, Beef & Inspector! If I knew anything about Chess, I'd throw my 2 cents in as well; but, alas, I cannot!
I will say that you know who the 'core' Joes & Cobras are - and then when you start hitting those 'fringe' guys, just take who you like personally best! There are so many opinions that, sometimes, you just have to roll with your own opinion!

Right now, Mutt and Junkyard have passed Interrogator by quite a bit for the next spot. they have 23 votes, Interrogator has 19, Shockwave has 17 (and none from this round!!!), Quick Kick 14, and Ace 13. 7 different characters have between 10 and 8 votes. which. Mutt got something like 8 votes this round alone, so even though he will be hard to catch this late, there are several who could win the next write-in.

Just for discussion, I rank the remaining 10 as follows:
Trooper Breaker Clutch Wild Bill Zarana Kwinn Tunnel Rat Spirit Lowlight Falcon Mutt, Interrogator, Quick Kick and Shockwave would all rank below Falcon. However, Ace would rank above Tunnel Rat and CG would rank above Zarana in my listings. This is just food for your thought. I bias the 1982-83 characters above all, and '84-'86 above later characters. |

I'm really surprised that Kwinn got voted onto the list so early but has gotten no support once there. I confess that I abandoned voting for him during a few rounds in order to put others in there, but he seems much more developed and complex than a lot of others on the list (to me).
I am also sad to see Mindbender beat out Dr. Venom, but that is a different discussion for a different time. |

Breaker was always portrayed as running the control room in the cartoon. In the comics, he was almost always in every operation, visible thanks to his gum-chewing habit. He was one of the Joes along with the three majors (Stalker, Scarlett, SnakeEyes) to appear in the smaller group selected in Marvel Issue #2. He was killed in the comic by SAW Viper, the only OG character to make the ultimate sacrifice. He was featured as a character in the Rise of Cobra movie, even though he was significantly rebooted. He was a major player in the Renegades series. His original figure design was as basic as a Joe came, maybe the plainest of the first carded-nine, with no gun (but an awesome headset). Still, no matter which figures they had, it seemed every kid had a Breaker. Also he was voiced by Chris Latta.
