Mix of 4 and 5. Roadblock using an M2 in the squad automatic weapon roll is retarded, but Snake Eyes with an Uzi is feasible (special operations have more leeway in what they carry, but why would you carry an Uzi when an M4 is superior in every possible way?).
I don't object to "futuristic" vehicles on principle, it's just they generally always suck. I could, say, work a Halo Falcon in pretty easily, but let's face facts, that's not what Hasbro does. They do shit like the RoC Dragonfly and Night Raven. |

^The Uzi's shorter, so it gets in the way less and the magazine loading in the base of the grip makes it easier to reload in the dark.

More realism than fantasy for me. I chose "Reality-inspired universe with far less sci-fi or fantasy elements."
But if you're writing fan fiction, write what you want to write. |

I definitely prefer Realism, but then I see somebody's crazy
custom figure or character/vehicle and I just have to allow it in my Joe verse, science fiction is all around us, wen I was in grade school And we rode Dinosaurs to school, nobody ever imagined we'd have all the worlds information at our fingertips in a portable phone, people take these for granted, but they were impossible just 20 yrs ago, so let the Fantasy run wild !!!!

I voted for #2. This is what the ARAH era was all about. Sure modernize gear and vehicals, but give us a "how the heck does that work" tecnologie.
