I like the jump version too but not as much as red pads.

It was a new toy line, I'm guessing they were under a tight budget to come up with 16 figures (we all know how Snake Eyes came about) using a handful of bodies and a few heads. And oh yeah the cardboard Cobra HQ. Maybe silver paint was to expensive for them in 82 lol?

Pretty much what he said- it makes him look more unique when compared to Flash, plus, the silver just looks sharp.
