I have the first edition of Bellomo's The Ultimate Guide to G.I. Joe 1982-1994: Identification and Price Guide
Is it worth picking up the 2nd edition? I'm less interested in the accuracy of the prices cited, and more interested in the pictures and general fun geeky info. Is this 2nd edition going to be up to date for a while, or might we see a 3rd edition any time soon that I might want to wait for? |

I think the pictures are a lot better on the second one. A little too much white space and useless information like commonly lost parts, but otherwise a good resource.
I pretty much use online resources now. Sites like YoJoe have started to update their pictures and 3DJoes.com is expanding all the time. For the modern stuff, the HissTank database is getting to be really good.

I like the visuals but as for the price guide, I find the prices are a little off. If you are looking for a cheaper alt. the online sources are pretty spot on.
