Hey Tankers! So I'm going to keep this short since it is not directly joe related but it is toy related. Short story I'm a graphic designer that grew in the 80's and still feel it is the greatest generation. Well I got together with some guys to create a toy brand based on all our fav shows and movies growing up plus soon to be new ones.
I've been trying to break into the toy design world for years and cannot tell you how fun and challenging this has been. We are toonstar toys painted and customizable figures based off your fav pop culture icons. If you know of anyone into figures outside of g.i joe or if you are I would love your support. I'm posting here because I love the tank and I know everyone here can appreciate having the dream of making toy designs for a living. So if these guys interest you or you know anyone they might any and all sharing is appreciated. Also let me know what you guys think and maybe I can work in some joe figs in the future with custom weapons! (the articulation will be lacking though) Nomatter what it has been a dream come true! |

Wow, those look a lot better and cooler than most of these stylized blind box figures out there!
Really hope this picks up for you, it'd be cool to see. |

Just curious... how do you plan on mitigating copyright and intellectual property issues?

Those do look really cool and have some nice accessories! I'd like to see mock ups of some Joes, just for fun to compare to what Hasbro is putting out.

These are really well done, what are the size comparison like the current Gi Joe or Transformers vinyls? Or the munny/dunny stuff out there?

These are 3 inch figures and the keychains are 1.5. We are looking into going into a 6 inch direction later though.
Thanks for the compliments! |
