I still say if we see Sludge Vipers they will be a three pack. Why would they tool up a new head for an army builder and then make it a vehicle driver or parachute drop figure? That would just be stupid.

Ah, got it. I understand... like I said above, I was glad last year when they put out a Kreo set instead of a three pack, because it meant I didn't feel I had to buy it. I guess the only difference really is that I desperately want Sludge Vipers so whoever says anything negative about them being made is someone I'm instantly critical of. :-)

Unfortunately, there is no choice. Hasbro seems to have no interest in making these a major retail item any more, and even if they did it is incredibly unclear if it would even be possible anymore. So given the choice between paying $30 a figure (or even $50), or paying nothing as the figure is completely unavailable, I choose to buy them. Obviously everyone reasonably has their own price tolerance levels. I certainly feel bad for and can understand the pain of those who simply cannot afford to pay any more... it must be torture to see figures that are badly wanted and just not within reach. This is of course the case with most hobbies... it's just that ours used to be affordable to everyone. |

I don't think any of us WANT these to be expensive exclusives with low runs.
