So I was vacuuming my house today and sucked up one of my daughters My Little Pony crowns (or something) and kept going. But then I remembered as a kid ripping through old vacuum bags searching for missing Joe gear and accessories that I was positive my mother had sucked up while cleaning; there were times I taught she targeted my toys to teach me a lesson about picking up, or something. Any way I got her crown back out for her; she didn't care by the way, but it got me thinking. To what ends have you gone to in search for your lost Joes?
I know I have also dugged up several of my mom's flower gardens looking for my Joe mass grave sites from Cobra's latest victory, but that's for another time... |

My dad keeps finding my joe's when doing yard work in the backyard. Last one he found was Lady Jaye wrapped up in a small American Flag. He gets just as excited as I get when he finds them.
There are many Joe's and Cobra's back there and we talk about him maybe finding more from time to time. It's like hidden treasure for us. |

I once flipped a sofa, recliner and broke 2 vases all on the same day looking for something. I forgot whether it was an accessory or a figure. I remember because the vases were at least $30 each and I had to repay them somehow.

I lost the stupid bullet for the POC Lowlight and ended up flipping over my living room chair hoping it would fall out or something. I'm sure it's still inside somewhere.

There was a large construction site just a block away from where I lived as a kid. They were building a flood wall and had several huge mounds of gravel. I thought it would be cool to take some Joes and dig a huge cave to use as a base. It took me hours to dig it out; but it was so big I could actually fit inside it!. I was setting up my Cobra forces on top of the "cave" to attack the Joes inside when the whole thing collapsed! It was getting dark and my Mom's rule was I had to be inside by sundown. It took forever but I scraped and dug out all my Joes and their accessories( Polar Battle Bear, Scarlett, Gung-Ho, Doc, Snow Job, Snake Eyes, Major Bludd and my Cobra Troopers ). I was getting very nervous because the last figure I found was Snake Eyes; and an all black figure in the dark is hard to see! But, I recovered everything. I got home late and got yelled at for coming in after dark, but I had all my Joes and I did not really care about the lecture.

Good story... that's something i really regret, i destroyed such a lot of figures while playing (broken thumbs, crotches, feet, accessoires, whatever...)but never toke them outside to play just because of the fear to lose them, maybe 2 figures, one left, one right, but no risk. (It was to hard to get them in Germany, maybe that's a reason, it was nearly impossible to get the same figure again in these days...)
