Hi everyone, my partner and I bought our first house together, and my massive Joe collection will finally have its own room!
However, the room isn't huge by any stretch of the imagination. I've been looking online for ideas for a display, and I'm kind of drawing a blank. Basically, the main thing I need to accommodate is a Terror Drome, and a pretty large vehicle collection. The Terror Drome is the only playset that I need to fit, but I do have a WHALE, an AT-AT that's been converted to Cobra, and a couple other decently sized vehicles mixed in with a plethora of other small-medium sized vehicles, and a few Transformers mixed in. I think what I will be attempting to go for is some kind of corner, L-shaped 'table', preferably with something raised at the joint of the angle for the Terror Drome. My previous display was definitely a diorama, not just a bunch of figures and vehicles displayed on shelves. Any ideas for this would be greatly appreciated, whether it be your own display photos or suggestions for tables/shelving hardware. My dad is a carpenter, and if something needs to be built, he more than likely would be able to build it. Thanks for any help you can all give!

Could you place the Terrordrome on top of a small mountain/outcropping in the angle of the L, perhaps have the mountain hollowed out (with blast doors a la Jabba the Hut entrance) for added storage and display space, with everything including the rest of the table covered with terrain as per Dealer Destro's setup.
You said you have a WHALE, are there any other sea vehicles? If so perhaps have one end of the L-shaped table turn into a beach (and water). |

I had a similar problem until I converted my 2 car garage into a Joe Room. In my small room, I took the door off the closet and put in shelves. The Terror Drome sat on the floor, and the shelves above held my bigger stuff like Joe HQ, my large planes, whale and the moble command center. Nothing too pricy in cost. Just four track shelves with brackets and the shelves were just edged plywood. It worked quite well for years.
