Its Sad that I know so little about both GI Joe And Action force, Like I have literally never seen an episode of the original cartoon, or any of the comics.
Mainly because I am 20 from Wales. But I would love to know more about the Lore surrounding all the Characters that I just buy because they look cool! Monte, Apologies for the terrible contribution here lol, but I did use my Chuckles I just got to try and make Dexter Morgan. Apart from this, I can't really use the figure, it is just too.. Odd? |

Chuckles is to me is a character that I only remembered for throwing a HAVOC missile at a HISS tank and blowing it up.
...until recent years. The original Cobra series, which are the only IDW Joe comics I've followed, changed Chuckles into a depressing film noir Solid Snake meets James Bond spy type. I loved it.

Storm Shadow? Billy? Snake Eyes and Scarlett stepping on a mine? What comics are you reading again? ;)

The Gage & Costa stories from IDW's Cobra series were definitely a huge inspiration for my Chuckles track. The hardcover collection "The Last Laugh" is a great place to start.
The IDW Cobra comics are easily my favourite modern GI JOE stories and revolve around more than just Chuckles. The interpretations of Jinx, Flint, Billy, Serpentor, Big Boa, Skullbuster and the Night Creepers are all amazing.

Chuckles' name is Philip Provost.
He nearly escaped The Baroness and Zandar who were working for Tyler Wingfield. They snuck into the safe house (?) where Chuckles was staying. He figured out someone was after him and set up a ruse to get away. He nearly did until Anastasia and Zandar intercepted him in his getaway car. According to Zandar, Chuckles is quite pretty looking.

This is amazing! We're getting a ZANDAR figure! ZANDAR featured prominently in the Cobra Commander series! Character development! It's a great time to be a Zandar fan! Thank you, Hasbro!!! |
