Welcome to the Tank, BL! Your memories of collecting will ring true to a lot of us here.
No worries. You're only allowed one name change, so this will be it. I'll change it for you now. |

You are so right. The smell of the boxes, the sound of the boxes- especially the big boxes as you opened them. Those are vivid memories! Welcome to the tank from a fellow hobbyist serving 82 to life!

Welcome to the Tank, dude. I have also been into Joes since '82. My brother and I spent many hours setting up our "battlefield" in the living room on top of a sand colored blanket.
Once we got the Watch Tower and the Bivouac and all of the Pac Rats in line we got really tired and fell asleep there in the floor. Before that we wore ourselves out trying to "figure" out who was going to "be" Flint and who would "be" Zartan, and the rest of the other hundred troops on both sides...! Good times!

Weclome! Right there with you (43) on the collecting. I am more of the GI Joe collecter and my son loves Cobra so we have a lot of fun being on opposite sides. Love that new toy smell...
