How about a new kid-friendly version of GI Joe with a game, a cartoon, and $6 Dollar General style 3.75" figures:
- A strong video game with toys that unlock levels of the game sounds promising. This is the best bet to get new young fans. - The TMNT buzz shows what a quality cartoon coordinated with matching toys can still do these days. Do note that the cartoon is fun and kid friendly, like the Joe Sunbow cartoon. This could also help bring in new young fans. But what about us old farts? Well, I thought the adult swim Resolute cartoon (rolled out in small segments) was brilliant. How about some of those Star Wars Black style 6" figures tied into a mature ARAH themed cartoon for us old farts? This would be branded separately from the new kid friendly game/cartoon/3.75" toys described above. Kid friendly cartoon/game/3.75 figures with a next generation GI Joe story (set in the not-too-distant future with current characters barely featured like today's Joe Colton) Adult cartoon/6" figures with a mature take on ARAH Just my two cents. Hasbro, if you're hiring, I'm looking ;-)

POC and 30th anniversary Joes are what got me into Joes in my adult life. I love the detail and amount of cool accessories that each figure comes with. |

I went with other.
Sell the property an licensing to another company (or hell just give it away they are doing such a terrible job with it), like SK Omega and Hasbro can run off with Transformers and Star Wars to the moon. Only then will Joe get the attention it deserves. Also get it out of the hands of Paramount for movies and find a cartoon studio that can crank out 3-5 years of cartoon episodes in POC quality update mentality. By then computer animation is going to look so good and sbe so cheap to make we can have some awesome stuff to watch...but hey it takes out of box thinking and risky investments to make this magic happen and I am sure all Hasbro wants to do now is to lock Joe up in the "cancelled vault" with everything else they already put in that abomination of a hell on earth :( since transformers and the new star wars movies are going to generate them more money then they need to waste focusing on Joe. Or ultimaltey just merge Transfomers into Star Wars and then let Star Wars absorb GI JOE so its just one Brand..Star Wars...cause eventually as POC updates happen over the next 20-50 years...it will be basically Star wars type figures lol...

(AD) I wish the toyline wasn't so dependant on the movies so it would have a shelf life longer than the films.
