I hate eBay, therefore I hate PayPal.
Is there an alternative that we can all jump on, in hopes that it will be a standard way to pay here on the Tank and elsewhere? I was looking around, and found E-Junkie, Digital River, 2Check Out, AlertPay, & Trialpay. What do you think? |

I think unfortunately, none of them have the same level of usage among other people, which is why it, like it's parent company, dominates the market.

paypal alone is fine but teamed with ebay it makes it 10x worse.
paypal does have upsides it give you money back for useing its card. if you keep cash in there you earn more then a bank. it has great buyer and seller protection. alot of online stores ues it. |

I use it for my online shop, and wouldn't think of using anything else. I hate that its the only one out there ( and an Ebay company) but it works and well.

I wouldn't mind PayPal so much if they didn't take such a big cut of the action. It don't hurt that much when you are doing a $10.00 transaction, but when you sell something for $200.00, you feel it. I still like money orders. I know there are a lot of scammers out there, but I still prefer money orders.
