Hey guys!
I was looking for information on completing accessories on the original 1960s 12" G.I. Joe Toys. I tried finding info on this site and can't find anything. Any suggestions as to where I can find it? Thanks! |

Welcome to the 'tank.
As for your question, the book Collectible GI Joe: An Official Guide to His Action-Packed World seems to have the best rating on Amazon as far as books that deal with the classic figures from the 1960s, although I haven't read it myself and can't personally vouch for its reliability and usefulness. |

Thank you, much appreciated. I'm pretty much looking for a picture guide of what items were in each accessory pack etc. Hope this is it. I'm shocked of the lack of fan base for the vintage 12" figures out there.

This guide is the way to go for identifying accessories:
Gi Joe Identification Guide Book '64 '78 by Desimone for Vintage 12 inch Sets | eBay It was put together by James DeSimone. I used to visit James' home in the mid-'90s, and he had an impressive collection of '60s Joes. |

Only problem on the Desimone guide is it is loaded with errors and some items that are not Joe. The Santimelo book is ok, but know that much info and some pictures were from other authors and there is also alot of errors in that one.
The Derryl DePriest book is much more accurate and better pictures. Heck this book helped him land the Job as head of the Joe brand. As for online resources check with the Trenches forum and ATGIJOE.com is the site for the Adventure Team era.
