I like the concept, the return to more millitary roots, but the IRON army wasn't even as impressive as SKAR as a cobra replacement. I really think the scale is what killed it.
I really think Hasbro should push to clean this toon up and extreme and at least put them on Netflix, the more the better right?

Not a fan of the figures, but I liked the design of the Iron Panther. I was hoping it would get re-released as a Cobra or IG tank.

There was one episode made but it never aired. Here's the link:
YOJOE.COM | Sgt. Savage & The Screaming Eagles I have seen the first episode (and I think the only one ever released) and it was OK, but the figures were not so good. subarticulated (the legs were a mess), easy to break and too big and bulky! but I liked the fact that hasbro gave us WWII style figures and weapons! |

Even though I didn't pick up any Sgt. Savage figures as a kid, I still do like the concept. I finally got to see the pilot episode a few years back and it was interesting to see Lady Jaye, Doc and Hawk make an appearance. Even good old CC made a cameo.

I liked it and have most of the toys. I just wish they were the same scale.

If done very well, Sgt. Savage could be a great, out of left field, 2014 Con set theme.

I picked up the basic Sgt. Savage that came with the VHS cartoon when it was first released, but the size difference to the ARAH line bugged me and I never bought any more. They would have been great if they were just 3 3/4" instead of 4 1/4" or whatever.
Little did I know it was about to get worse with that GI Joe: Extreme crap. |

I like the concept and the visuals (Savage is pretty much DC comics' Sgt. Rock, who I'm a tremendous fan of.) , but the construction of the toys is terrible. I've gotten more than one broken right out of the original package. The 12 inch figure was actually very nice.
I would like to see a modern 3 3/4 Sgt. Savage figure though. |
