Evening/moring to those easties.Just got back from walmart. Finally picked up a CS SE.They had soo many of them.I got my hands on three of the six unopened boxes and liberated the figures to the pegs in search of some Kamakura figs. After the 3rd one i was advised to stop opening the boxes..had the lady not have been lurking about watching me id have had the rest opened. And not even a thanks for putting them on the pegs..Geez.Sadly enuf..no kamakura figs.. :(So much fro trying to help out my fellow tankers still in search of an elusive figure.
When Episode I stuff was released, I had a clerk threaten to call security on me for "violating" freight on the pallets. Now I admit some other collectors/scalpers were rather uncouth and would demolish the toy section leaving action figures, tissue paper and half-empty cases all over the place, but not your friendly neighborhood sockless space knight! Anyway, I was rather rude back to her. She had a terrible skin condition, as I recall, and I think my Palpatine-personality emerged and I commented on it very viciously. |

My wal-mart lady lets me help her unpack any case of G.I. Joe that happens to be unopened when I arrive. She knows me so very well after a few interactions
She did however make the mistake last week of telling me what day and time the hasbro rep stops by the store. |

Oh. Best walmart service story ever.
I'm going in looking for mothballs (why I was, doesn't matter). So, I've checked the entire housewares department. I can't find any. Nor any spot for any. So I look around for a clerk. I only see one guy over at the paint desk, so I sigh and walk over. He's helping a couple mix a can of paint, so I ask him if he could call someone from housewares when he has a chance. He says he might be able to help and asks what I'm looking for. I tell him and he says. Five aisles down, fourth shelf on your left. I look at him like he's nuts, and the couple doesn't look like they believe him either. He sighs, finishes making the paint can and walks out from behind the desk. He proceeds to walk down exactly five aisles, turns down, walks to exactly the third shelf, on the left hand side, picks up the one box of mothballs in the store (the rest were sold out, I checked at customer service just out of curiosity) hands it to me and walks back to paint. |

Good Snag on the peg Vespa. The days of "rare" CS SE are limited. |
