Have you picke up the 'Star Wars: Year by Year" yet LL?
It's --awesome-- There's stuff in there even I didn't know about. And the way they weave in ---alot--- of non star wars stuff and how star wars touched them (( Production companies, directors, friens. stars, product lines, ect)) it kinda knocks your socks off. You look at it and go "yeah I lived 77-2010, I don't need it" But the level of information in there is staggering. It's beautiful too. My only complaint (( if it is one)) is the thing is massive. Like 25 by 20 by 2 inches thick and weighs about 10 pounds. It's not 'light' reading. lol It's hard for me to read at my PC which is where I do most of my reading. --Highly-- Reccomend it.

As for the RPG.. i was annoied. I liked the new line, but it kinda had reached it's 'logical end' You had all the books you 'needed' to play the game. Everything else would just be filler. I wish they did make a consolidated spieces book instead of 5 or 6 per book over a dozen books but you still got them.

I haven't had a chance to do more than glance through it yet. Trying to get through Knight Errant at the moment, and finish Sculpting a Galaxy. There was another one done similarly to Year by Year (same packing) but I can't remember the title and am too lazy to walk to my bedroom right now. What IS huge is the second edition of the Encyclopedia. |

Eramuth is awesome. I think he's got some more tricks up his sleeve. I think (( just my opinion)) it'll go one of two ways. 1) he'll actually get her off and Daala will have her killed just before or just after release, or 2) Daala will cheat and have them lose even though they should win, and about that time the jedi will be "Ok. enough of that crap we're springing her"
Well or the Imp overthrow plot goes through first and it doesn't matter. Something's going to give and soon. Quote:

As for the species, I still work off the one from the last (early 2000s) incarnation. That was a very well done piece of work: The Ultimate Alien Anthology I believe was the title. EDIT: yep, memory served. I forgot that series was also done by Wizards. I prefered the shape of those books to the current ones but ah well. |
