I think the line needs a short recess at retail for a year or two. Right now, the FSS and the club should be the only Hasbro G.I. Joe figures on the market after the last Retaliation wave.
With Target getting rid of their stock, it's time for a break. Hasbro should take the time and plan more 30th Anniversary/Pursuit of Cobra quality G.I. Joe figures in the coming years. Anything less is insulting. |

I voted for POC like collection. I also liked Resolute. As for "Other" I would say do a "MIX." When 25th/Modern was out they had the different logos in the upper corner of the card nodding to 25th or animated or comic or whatever.... why couldn't you do a card like that and add the movies, Resolute, Renegades, or ANY Joe genre, including Adventure Team or a 3.75" 1960's scar check Joe.

I do think we need some time to plan a new series of toys, complete with its own comics, video game, and tv show.

I personally feel, that is Club only for the next 3-5 years. One last movie and that's it. Hasbro has given up on the brand. It doesn't help that RI is in NY's backyard and it's PC central. It's just not popular for parents to let yheir kids play with military toys or anything else related to weapons. It think y he PC world we now live in will be the end of this brand we all love.

I think G.I. Joe needs a reboot. Time to go back to its roots. Bring back the "Real American Hero" concept. As Kirk Bozignian said, "it should be a crime not having the U.S. flag anywhere on the card or box".
I think if the line celebrated soldiers as heroes again...kids (and adult collectors) would snatch these up again. Look at whats popular today - superhero toys - Iron Man, Superman, Batman. Tap into that "hero" premise Joe was founded on.

I think we will see a very limited 50th line of some short, maybe only around Christmas next year and beyond that nothing untill Joe 3 (outside of club stuff)
What should happen? that's a different and difficult question, but I think new kid friendly games are even more important than a toon to get the brand where it should be.

I would love another Pursuit of Cobra quality line with possibly new characters and vipers.

If the 50th 12ers are based on RAH characters I will ikely get a few as I still play with HOFers.
I would LIKE a new POC style line, but realisticly could use the time to catch up on ebay vinty vehicles and troop building DG bucks. |

Why all the negativity? Do you guys want your favorite toy line to end or something?
