Charmin? Generic Walmart brand for me bud. People may not get it, but being a fanatic, and wanting my joes sooner is what I'm all about. I'll be buying more when they hit the shelves, but it would sure be nice to have ultimate duke or flint a month before release date. If that doesn't explain it, I don't know what does. :-)

Certainly I don't begrudge you putting your money where you want to. I just don't get it. But to each their own!

Most of the ones viperskingdom sells have no accessories...including Duke. So I would read everything first!

You get what's pictured, he recycles the listing descriptions and there's something lost in translation. Unfortunately some of the accessories have been mixed up in the images and you may not get everything. Of course you can just file an item not as described and get your money back and keep the figure.
My stance on people paying ridiculous money for these items is that the $70 they spend does NOT go to Hasbro and does not help the brand. My thought process is that if you're getting figures loose (yes, I know sometimes he still sends the items in their package) from the grey market, they should be cheaper than retail, not more! These items from China should be dirt cheap. I applaud Viperskingdom for recognizing the niche market and profiting from it. Kind of ironic with all the scalper hate on this site yet people are fighting to over pay on these figures. If you want to spend $70 on GIJoe, just wait a month and you can have 7 figures from retailers that buy from Hasbro and keep the brand's blood pumping. You might even get more if there's a bogo or percent off sale. The only good defense I've read for paying these prices is the early reviews on fan websites that drive traffic and ad revenue. Just my two cents, I guess there's a select few people that have money to burn and want to be the first one on their block to have that toy (even though no one else on the block could give a shit) yet have a problem paying their fair share in taxes (this is not directed at anyone, just a generalization). Then again you might be paying more than your fair share and make enough to not think twice about dropping 7 times the retail price for a single action figure one month early.

To each his or her own. I did that before, getting stuff before they hit the shelves by paying too much. I look back at those things now and ask myself why. I don't have any awards for getting them early, and I can't pick out the figs I got early from the ones I bought at retail. So it isn't work it to me. eBay does suck though, and I feel your own there.

Agree, but it is their money. Spend it on toys as long as the family and bills are taken care of first. |
