It probably refers to the fact that the name "Starship Trooper" was under copy right.

Undeniably this Quote:
Sheesh. We are talking about neon colored space soldiers that came with freaking playdoh. NOT MARINES. Blast-off was a civilian firefighter who went right into the joes because he put out an entire forest fire BY HIMSELF. At least Clutch has previous filecards to fall back on for his military history, as his Megamarine card says he was recruited for the joes right out of the Indy 500 racing circuit. So basically Dale Jr in space? wtf. Gung-Ho's MM Filecard specifically references his USMC experience, plus we have his previous Filecards that prove he earned his EGA at Parris Island. Mirage has no reference to military service on any of his FCs besides being referred to as a soldier. As any Marine will tell you, a Marine is not a soldier, a Marine is a Marine. Now you know and knowing is half the battle. Last edited by Angry.Android; 06-22-2013 at 03:08 AM.. |

Same here. His collar looked like it had Captain's bars. He'd be the same rank as Grid-Iron.

Then by your logic, Merchant Marines must be USMC too right? Even though they are the nautical equivalent of truck drivers? What about the Royal Marines of England? They are USMC too right? Even though they are in another freaking country? IF you think having the word "marine" in a title makes someone a United States Marine, i know a whole lot of actual Marines who would love to beat your face into a brand new shape. If you didn't complete basic at MCRD Parris Island or MCRD San Diego, you aren't a US Marine.
Epic Face Palm. Megamarines are not USMC. This And for god's sake THIS Undeniably this And more than likely this. Sheesh. We are talking about neon colored space soldiers that came with freaking playdoh. NOT MARINES.
