That looks cool. Great job on that. That's one thing I'm going to miss about KB Toys being closed. I was working the door handing out candy and played a Cobra trooper the first year I did it and Cobra Commander last year. I was going to be Snake Eyes this year, but oh well. Maybe something will come up and I can still do it. Here's some shots of what I did. I don't have any perfect shots, just one of me in costume and then the shirt hanging:

I love how the leader of a multi-trillion dollar terrorist organization has the good sense to make sure the little trademark symbol on his uniform is properly displayed.

Great work, domhnall!
Congratulations! It's funny how the fans can get it right but a big budget Hollywood film can't. The only costume I like so far without major reservations from the film is Snake Eyes's. Best wishes, Kamakura Supporting the Joe team since 1983 |

Awesome, Awesome costume. The Hollywood folks should bow their heads in shame. Great effort!

Wow, thanks alot for the comments everyone! I am looking forward to the next convention or whatever in Toronto, so i can have another excuse to wear it out.
To answer a few questions: Quote:
Regarding the shirt, it is custom made by adding a bib I designed myself. As for the hood, it is leather. It doesn't flow the way it does in the cartoon and comics, but... those are cartoons and comics It would have to be silk or something to get it to flow really nicely. I think the leather is a happy medium because it looks sweet in person, and is pretty heavy duty. Now I just need to find some places around Toronto to wear it... |
