As a matter of fact I think it is ridiculous that G.I. Joe ever had to fight against Cobra Troopers who were humans with tanks and guns and jeeps. In reality all wars are fought against enemies who have bug faces and giant wings and they use giant insects for transportation and attack vehicles. In short you make an awesome point, spot on. One day I will convince Doc Brown to let me take the Delorean back to 87 and rid the world of the abomination that crippled G.I. Joe, was it the first movie to be so bad that it did not even go straight to video, but straight to the USA cartoon express? Last edited by The Fridge; 02-04-2008 at 11:09 PM.. |

Hey man, what's your beef with Cartoon express, my friend Grape Ape rides the Cartoon Express everyday. No if you were to ride on the Great Space coaster that would be a different story.
PS Braniac its a cartoon, so Captain Obvious none of it is to be believed. Here is $.25 go buy yourself an imagination |

Why is it that an imagination cost $.25, and advice only cost $.02?
Does it really make any difference where CC got his start from? He's an imaginary figure created to represent all of the terrorists of the world at the time. I don't think it's worth getting into an argument over. |

I am just busting chops. I think the movie was animated well, but was written like crap example Tunnel Rat, Slaughter, the Cobra song, and the other new characters a basketball player give me a break, with the exception of Jinx leave out those others. In the original story for the movie Duke was actually suppose to die. I agree that origins should stay a mystery. But CC origin in the movie is better than a crappy car saleman with a lisp, ohhhhhhh scary terrorist. BOO-hoo my bro wassssssss killed in an accident, I cant ssssssssell carsssssssss, but I will grow thissssssss stylish mustach, but hide it under thisssssssss fabulous ssssssssssilver masssssk. Maybe that is why Destro always calls him my dear Cobra Commander.

PS. I didn't want to start a new thread but I have two questions: 1. How does Cobra Commander maintain the loyalty and organization of his Cobra forces? Are they too disgruntled normal folk? They seem to be more organized than some industrialized nations. They have uniforms and all these different troop variations, vehicles, scientific research, etc. etc. They also seem to have more organization then the Joes. The Joes can't even standardize their uniform (Partially tongue in cheek). and... 2. Where can I get a copy of all the comic books from Marvel? Is there a few trade paperbacks or a digital collection, anything?
